Suggested Psalms Reading Schedule for Counting The Omer 2012

I have received several email requests for the updated schedule of suggested Psalm readings for counting of the Omer during 2012. The schedule was posted on the website homepage and may be downloaded from the following url: http://www.inthatday.net/892376/Counting%20of%20Omer%202012.pdf

 We have found scheduling the readings of the Psalms in this way helps to keep us on track with the 50 day count, and the number of the day is easily remember by the number of the psalms readings for the day. In addition many have commented that reading the Psalms in this way through the Counting of the Omer have been a source of rich blessings last year.

 The schedule has been set according to the biblical calendar dates, which were identified below through the three witnesses of 1) the Vernal Equinox (circuit of the sun), 2) the Aviv barley report and 2) the new moon sighting from Jerusalem.

 The schedule of Psalm readings is in accord with the appointed times calendar dates which is as follows:

God's "thou shall nots," have been changed and given a modern twist by J. John.

• "Thou shall not steal" has been changed to "Prosper with a clear conscience." (The two statements don't even seem to be related.)
• "Thou shall not commit adultery" has been changed to "Affair-proof your relationships."
• "Thou shall not take the Lord's name in vain" has been changed to "Take God seriously."
• "Honor your father and mother" has been changed to "Keep peace with your parents."
• The commandment "Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbor's" has been reduced to two words: "Find contentment."
